Pratt & Whitney Canada is seeking a seasoned Production Planning and Control Manager to lead a team responsible for daily production planning, on-time delivery, and inventory management across engines and components. This on-site role requires coordinating with internal customers and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure aerospace

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management / operations / engineering / procurement management.
• Engaging and influential leadership demonstrated across multiple mandates and projects.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management and stakeholders.
• Strong decision-making, interpersonal skills, and capacity to act as a change agent.
• Ability to synthesize, maintain a global vision, and improve processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data processing platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Adaptable, autonomous, and capable of coaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning of daily production operations, considering priorities and resources.
• Oversee on-time delivery planning and coordinate with internal customers.
• Oversee optimization of operation sequences and workflows.
• Define the vision and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.
• Maintain sound in-process and finished goods inventory management.
• Coordinate subcontracting activities for certain in-process operations.
• Ensure understanding of demand for engines and spare parts.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials to maintain the plan.
• Support the digital transformation of product planning and manufacturing activities.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Monitor KPIs and implement appropriate corrective actions.
