Responsibilities
  • Visually and dimensionally inspect engine parts.
  • Ensure the configuration and quality of parts and engines.
  • Use precision measuring instruments for dimensional checks.
  • Certify, through inspections and audits, that subassemblies, main assemblies and finished engines meet specifications.
  • Report nonconforming parts in the system and recommend dispositions.
  • Handle parts with defects or damage according to their history.
  • Maintain appropriate records of various parameters to ensure operational efficiency and allow statistical process tracking.
  • Ensure and certify that repairs or modifications were performed according to procedures. Validate related documentation.
  • Monitor quality and processes on assembly lines and test stands when required.
  • Perform computer transactions (SAP) and complete required work documentation.
Qualifications
  • DEC in Aeronautics or equivalent.
  • Computer skills: Office Suite and SAP.
  • Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aerospace field.
  • Strong blueprint/plan reading skills.
  • High degree of autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Interpersonal skills: team player and positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • This position is set in a francophone work environment; however, functional knowledge of English is required to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms from international organizations, and to write and sometimes communicate in English with clients, suppliers or international colleagues.
