Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a Director of Digital Experience Design to join the leadership team and elevate design craft and strategy across mobile, web, and AI-powered experiences in Canada. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, partner with Product, Technology, Research & Insights, Marketing and Data & Analytics, shaping a scalable, accessible digital product approach.

You will champion user research, drive end-to-end experiences, and influence roadmaps while leveraging AI tools to improve

Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing and shipping complex digital product experiences with strong UX/UI craft.
Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams in agile, product-led organizations.
Strong cross-functional leadership with influence across a matrix organization.
Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare is a strong asset.
Proficiency with modern design tools and scaling design systems across product lines.
Track record of building and developing high-performing teams and storytelling to move decisions.

Responsibilities

Shape end-to-end digital experiences for scale, accessibility, and longevity across channels.
