Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a Director of Client Data Solutions to lead data integration, governance and analytics across Group Benefits and Group Retirement Services. You will drive transformation and automate data exchanges, partnering with multiple business units to improve client outcomes and service delivery.

You will oversee a 40-person team, shape data standards, and ensure security and quality while leveraging analytics for strategic decisions and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale data, analytics, integration, or technology-enabled operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide data strategy aligned with business objectives and oversee data architecture, governance and quality standards.
• Guide a diverse team of about 40 professionals across locations, establishing KPIs and driving adoption of new tools and processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, compliance, and operational integrity; leverage analytics to identify opportunities and support decisions.
• Design scalable data integration solutions using APIs, HRIS, payroll systems and emerging tech; partner with Technology teams to modernize platforms.
