Job summary

Alectra Utilities Inc. seeks a strategic, collaborative leader to oversee Centralized Operations, including System Control, substations, and protection and control. You will drive reliability, safety, and customer service while advancing grid modernization and operational excellence.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape enterprise strategy, lead major initiatives, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that supports safety, integrity, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• PEO or OACETT licensure preferred.
• Experience leading large-scale electric utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for System Control, Substations, Protection & Control, Reliability and Smart Grid operations.
• Oversee 24/7 readiness for switching, outages, restoration and emergency ops.
• Advise Senior VP on risks, opportunities and business priorities.
• Lead organizational change to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Develop strategies for capital investments and asset management.
• Foster safety, inclusion, and high-performance culture across teams.
