Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in protection and control design; 3 years in P&C algorithm specs.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and power system simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design specifications for protection and control algorithms.
• Conduct proof of concept studies using PSCAD, RTDS, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Drive root cause analysis of incidents related to P&C algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve algorithm, product, and customer issues.
• Publish technical papers and present at tradeshows and conferences for GE Vernova's products.
• Assist in preparing training material and deliver training courses.
• Identify opportunities for patentable innovations to strengthen IP portfolio.
• Provide technical guidance and training to new engineers and staff.
• Analyse market trends to propose developments in Digital Energy products.
