Job summary

Nemo Sushi To Go in Nanaimo, BC is seeking an experienced head chef to oversee kitchen operations on-site. The role requires managing a team, planning menus, creating recipes, and maintaining high food quality and cost controls.

You will train staff and ensure efficient cooking and presentation of sushi and seafood dishes. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of kitchen experience, a secondary school diploma, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • On-site work in Nanaimo, BC
  • Experience with Japanese cuisine and seafood is preferred

  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff
