Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon is seeking a Head Cashier to lead the front end team, coach associates, and ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will work with the Front End Supervisor to promote GET behaviours, handle cash machines, and support schedule coverage.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1–2 years of retail or cash handling experience, and at least 1 year of leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years Retail or Cash experience is an asset.
• Leadership experience of at least 1 year is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in GET behaviours and promote positive associate morale.
• Ensure sufficient checkouts are available by managing lines and queueing.
• Walk the front end to ensure readiness for Grand Opening, ads, and flyer execution.
• Observe staffing levels to meet business needs and provide coaching as needed.
• Train and develop front end and lot associates and ensure proper scheduling.
• Assist with cash handling and operations at registers and with security procedures.
