Job summary

Heritage Christian Online School seeks an Education Assistant to work with students in the family home for the 2026-27 school year. This is a part-time contract position that may grow in hours over the year, depending on student needs and EA skillsets.

As the Education Assistant your duties include supporting behavioural and academic needs, mentoring the whole person, encouraging study habits and differentiating learning, collaborating with the Case Manager and parent to support personalized

Qualifications

• Experience in education support, behavioural intervention, or working with children/youth.
• Non-EA credentials (e.g., psychology, behaviour analysis, social work, coaching, mathematics) are encouraged.
• Certified Educational Assistant certificate or training in process is an asset.

Job Requirements

Background working in Education, EA Support, Behaviour Intervention, or with children/youth

Professionals with non-EA specific credentials are encouraged to also apply (e.g., psychology, behaviour analysis, social work, coaching, mathematics, etc.)

A valid Certified Educational Assistant certificate (or training in process) is considered an asset
