Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud HCM specialist to provide functional support for HR modules such as Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Absences, and Time in a dynamic environment.

You will partner with People and IT teams across time zones, document requirements, and guide testing and validation through deployments, ensuring data integrity and user adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience with Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and how they map to Oracle HCM.
• Experience with Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Absences, Time, or Core HR modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Oracle Cloud HCM applications across Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Absences, Time, and core HR processes.
• Partner with People team stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend practical solutions.
• Analyze and document business requirements, process changes, and system impacts.
• Support intake, analysis, prioritization, and delivery of enhancements and defects through JIRA/CAB.
• Work with HR, IT, vendors, and stakeholders through development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide walkthroughs to QA and automation teams on business processes.
• Validate system setups and configurations after changes.
• Participate in functional, regression, UAT, and defect validation testing.
• Maintain functional documentation and change records.

Job description

• Provide functional support for Oracle Cloud HCM applications, including Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Absences, Time, and other core HR processes.
• Partner with People team stakeholders and business owners to understand business needs, identify issues, and recommend practical functional solutions.
• Analyze and document business requirements, process changes, enhancements, and system impacts.
• Support intake, analysis, prioritization, and delivery of system enhancements and defects through JIRA/CAB and change management processes.
• Work with HR, IT, vendors, and stakeholders throughout development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide business process walkthroughs to QA and automation teams.
• Identify business scenarios, positive and negative test cases, and expected outcomes.
• Validate system setups and configurations after changes.
• Participate in functional, regression, user acceptance, and defect validation testing.
• Improve test coverage and automation with QA resources.
• Maintain functional documentation, including processes, requirements, test scenarios, configuration decisions, and change documentation.
• Support Oracle HCM releases, enhancements, and upgrades through impact assessment, testing, and validation.
• Provide functional guidance and coaching to end users and stakeholders.
• Communicate request, issue, testing, risk, and concern status to stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings, working sessions, and projects across multiple time zones.
• Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting or implementing Oracle Cloud HCM, with strong functional/business process experience.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes and how they translate into Oracle HCM.
• Experience working with one or more Oracle HCM modules such as Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Absences, Time, or Core HR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and determine functional root causes.
• Experience working in a structured change management, ticketing, or project environment such as JIRA/CAB.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, management, HR teams, IT, vendors, and end users.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across multiple time zones, with some flexibility to adjust working hours earlier or later to accommodate EST/PST teams.
• High degree of discretion, professionalism, and judgment when handling confidential employee and business information.
