Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Developer to join one of our major BC based clients. This role focuses on the design, development, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, with an emphasis on integrations, reporting, data management, and system enhancements.

The candidate will work with stakeholders, HR teams, and technical partners to deliver scalable solutions that support acquisitions and ongoing business transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer, with a focus on Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience supporting and developing within Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including designing, developing, and supporting integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment.
• Build and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect HCM with internal and external systems.
• Develop reports, dashboards, data extracts, and analytics solutions to support business and operational requirements.
• Create and maintain inbound and outbound integrations, File-Based Data Import (FBDI) processes, and HCM Extracts.
• Execute and support large-scale data loads, conversions, and migration activities, including acquisitions and organizational changes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and recommend scalable solutions.
• Support ongoing enhancements, releases, and optimization efforts across the Oracle HCM platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, reporting, and data-related issues while ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards related to sensitive employee information.
• Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing within the Oracle HCM Cloud ecosystem and a proven track record building scalable integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer, with a focus on Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience supporting and developing within Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including designing, developing, and supporting integrations.

Strong experience with:

• oHCM Extracts
• oBI Publisher and reporting development
• oData integrations and interfaces
• oData loads and data conversion activities
• oREST and SOAP APIs

• Experience supporting technical solutions across multiple areas of Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Proven experience handling high-volume data loads, conversions, and migration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and access controls within HR systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
