Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Part-time Guest Services Representative for the Outlet Collection at Niagara, Niagara, ON. This seasonal, fixed-term position places you at a busy shopping centre, delivering friendly, professional service and support to shoppers and retailers.

You will greet customers, handle transactions, sell gift cards, provide directions, and maintain knowledge of centre services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Sales experience including transaction management and cash handling.
• Strong written and oral communication with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet and assist customers at the Guest Services location, creating memorable interactions and providing excellent service.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the shopping centre's services, amenities, store locations, promotional activities, and available comfort tools.
• Sell shopping centre gift cards, process transactions accurately, and balance sales at end of shift.
• Interact with shoppers and retailers in a courteous and efficient manner, both in person and over the telephone.
• Provide directions, answer questions, and offer gift or store suggestions based on shoppers' needs using current knowledge of merchandise, price points, and special events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, educating them about the centre's services and promotional opportunities.
• Participate in special projects and assume other duties as assigned by centre management.

What this job involves

JLL is seeking a dynamic individual for the seasonal, fixed term role of Part-time Guest Services Representative at the Outlet Collection at Niagara. In this customer-facing position, you will be the welcoming face of our shopping centre, ensuring every customer interaction is carried out in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. You'll play a vital role in delivering on JLL's mission of "continually striving to surprise and engage the consumer and retailer by consistently delivering a superior customer experience." What your day-to-day will look like

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment
• Sales experience including transaction management and cash handling
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while maintaining high professionalism
• Must be friendly, approachable, proactive and solution focused
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Flexible availability to work daytime shifts Monday through Friday and on weekends
• Understanding of Crisis Management procedures and Guest Services role in emergency situations

Estimated compensation for this position: 17,680.00 – 18,000.00 CAD per year
