Job summary

Mount Norquay Ski Resort in Banff, AB is seeking Guest Services agents for the winter season to assist guests with ticket purchases, bookings, and general inquiries across skiing, tubing, and night skiing experiences.

Perks include a free lift pass and benefits such as events, on-site parking, store discounts, and a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Ideal candidates have 1 year of customer service experience, cash handling skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient guest service to all guests
• Assist guests with ticket purchases, activity bookings, and general inquiries
• Process transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system
• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest questions promptly
• Provide information about resort activities, attractions, events, and services
• Assist guests with reservations, waivers, and activity check-ins
• Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming guest services area
• Support other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Duties

• Providing friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all guests
• Assisting guests with ticket purchases, activity bookings, and general inquiries
• Processing transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system
• Answering phone calls, emails, and guest questions in a timely and professional manner
• Providing information about resort activities, attractions, events, and services
• Assisting guests with reservations, waivers, and activity check-ins
• Resolving guest concerns and escalating issues when necessary
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming guest services environment
• Assisting with administrative tasks and daily operational duties as required
• Supporting other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience required
• Cash handling and point-of-sale experience considered an asset
• Previous work at a ski resort, tourism attraction, or hospitality business considered an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Able to perform tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Wear company uniform at all times and adhere to grooming policies
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
