Job summary

The Josie Hotel Rossland by Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests and deliver a warm, personalized welcome. You will handle check-ins/outs, suggest packages, manage payments, and coordinate with hotel departments to ensure a memorable stay.

Seasonal position starting December 1, 2026, with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits plan. Eligible associates receive ski pass benefits and employee discounts at Crescent-managed properties and Marriott

Qualifications

• PMS experience is an asset.
• Service oriented with an eye to supporting your internal guests.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Willingness to learn, develop & grow.
• Numerical acuity and high attention to detail.
• Canadian Drivers Licence with a clean drivers abstract and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Make guest reservations and promote available packages or upgrades.
• Handle all forms of payments and maintain an accurate cash float.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and care.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel layout, room types, and rate plans.
• Ensure guest safety and building security through adherence to procedures.
• Support additional front office or hotel operations as needed.
• Assist Valet team parking guest vehicles or assisting with luggage when needed.

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

• Comprehensive understanding of financial data, reporting, & basic arithmetic functions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
• Professional presentation

• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
• Able to perform other duties as required
• Lift up to 50 lbs
