Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Guest Service Agent in Ontario to deliver courteous, efficient service to guests before arrival and throughout their stay. You will work with the Guest Services team to maximize room revenue and occupancy while handling inquiries and payments.

We offer flexible scheduling, benefits, and employee discounts across Crescent properties in North America. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, and OPERA/CRM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work long hours occasionally and stand up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous service to guests prior to arrival and during stay.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours of operation and local area.
• Take payments, verify credit authorizations, respond to special requests, and promote guest service programs.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be working with our Guest Services team to ensure consistent high quality customer service is delivered by providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. You will be working a rotating schedule and are often the first point of contact for all hotel, conference and/or restaurant guests. Daily responsibilities include answering guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours of operation and the local area; taking payment and verifying credit authorizations; responding to special guest requests; and championing guest service programs.

Key knowledge, skills or abilities that are required:

• A minimum 1-year customer service and/or hospitality experience, preferred.
• Ability to work long hours occasionally and work standing up to 8 hours per day.
• Excellent computer skills - MS Office, customer relationship management (CRM) software - OPERA experience preferred.
