Job summary

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is seeking a server to deliver an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf, curling and marina operations. You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, and provide personalized recommendations while ensuring smooth POS operation and timely kitchen communication.

The role requires English and French skills, legal alcohol service in Ontario, and compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and experience in food and beverage service.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario.
  • Ontario Responsible Service of Alcohol certification required.
  • Food handling certification as required.
  • Experience in cash handling.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and guide them through the menu.
  • Provide personalized recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
  • Operate the Point of Sale system and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and drinks with a smile while adhering to liquor laws and food safety rules.
