Job description

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is a community dedicated to supporting Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and their families. We curate programs and services to enhance mental, social, physical, financial, and familial well‑being, including recreation, sports, fitness, customized financial services, retail services, savings, discounts, family support and charitable events.

The Role

As a Server, you will provide an excellent and professional customer experience in our mission‑critical messes operations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming customers, offering personalized recommendations, and answering queries about food or beverages
  • Handling the Point of Sales system accurately, taking orders and ensuring prompt communication to kitchen and bar staff
  • Serving food and drinks with a positive attitude while complying with provincial liquor laws and food safety regulations
  • Collaborating with a team to maintain a high‑quality customer experience and positive workplace culture
Qualifications Needed
Education, Certifications and Licenses
  • High school diploma and some years of experience in food and beverage service, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
  • Legal age to serve alcohol in the province
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (Province)
  • Food Handling Certification, as required
