Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Food Services Team Lead to oversee service at Tundra Grill & Concessions. You will lead the Food Service Team to maintain high quality meals and beverages, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience across venues such as Tundra Grill, Toucan Canteen, and Ice Cream Carts.

You will train and mentor staff, manage daily POS transactions, monitor stock levels, and ensure safety and sanitation standards in line with provincial regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience coaching or mentoring staff.
• Ability to handle cash and transaction reconciliation.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food & beverage items across multiple venues.
• Process all POS transactions and reconcile cash drawer.
• Respond promptly to sales fluctuations to optimize labour costs.
• Communicate low stock and supply needs to management.
• Maintain quality and safety standards of food and service.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff and volunteers.
• Address guest requests and resolve complaints with professionalism.
• Support goodwill ambassadors on site.
