Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in food services or hospitality.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with inventory management, cash handling, labour scheduling, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 25 pounds throughout the workday.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of food service operations.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and products.
• Support the implementation of company programs, promotions, and initiatives.
• Address operational issues and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Supervise and support frontline employees during shifts.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management support.
• Promote employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
• Lead shifts and act as manager-on-duty when required.
• Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Manage labor costs through effective scheduling practices.
• Review timecards and assist with payroll administration.
• Monitor attendance and address scheduling concerns
• Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient, and professional service.
• Address customer feedback and implement service recovery strategies when needed.
