Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Edmonton is seeking a friendly part-time Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and support food and beverage service. You will contribute to a positive guest experience and uphold our standards of service.

Ideal candidates bring hostess experience in hospitality, cash handling skills, and comfort with POS systems; certificates like Serving It Right or Smart Serve are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as host/hostess in hospitality preferred.
• Cash handling experience using POS or cashier register.
• Serving It Right / Smart Serve certificates are assets.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to provide a premium guest experience.
• Initiate conversations with guests confidently.
• Manage reservations and seating while helping servers with expediting, bussing and cleaning.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
