Job summary

Compass Group Canada seeks a Guest Experience Ambassador to ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere for clients, executives, and staff. On-site five days weekly, you will greet guests, assist with space reservations, manage EMS reservations, and coordinate with vendors to provide seamless service.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $48,000 – $52,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. The Guest Experience Ambassador is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members. As the first friendly face our guests encounter, Guest Service Ambassadors are often stationed in public spaces and reception desks/lobbies. From directing guests to their meetings to providing ongoing assistance; they ensure a comfortable and professional visit. This role is expected to be on-site five days a week.

If You Were To Come On Board As Our Guest Experience Ambassador, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us

  • Provide high-level internal and external customer support.
  • Greet employees and visitors, welcome visitors with a smile, and maintain eye contact through the entire interaction. Assisting with registering visitors with the building and internal platform.
  • Assist in making space reservations using an online tool and escorting guests throughout the office.
  • Manage and support all functions in EMS – OMC Reservations Tool
  • Responsible for the shared mailbox on site.
  • Speak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest
  • Manage the access process for visitors according to workplace standards.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all office space to include open work areas, conference rooms, lobby, and kitchen.
  • Restock offices, conference rooms, kitchen, and pantry supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain conference rooms for executive and client meetings, align all furniture to quality assurance requirements.
  • Provide general travel support (arranging transportation, providing directions, etc.)
  • Coordinate and arrange basic office equipment repairs and maintenance by inputting facilities tickets.
  • Carry out instructions for security, fire, health and safety guidelines.
  • Provide first-line support for basic office technology.
  • General administrative support.
  • Interface with vendors (catering, AV, etc.) to provide seamless customer support.
  • Respond to inquiries and anticipate customer needs.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communications.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team members.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with all other departments.
  • Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs when business requires.
  • Performs daily quality assurance checks for pantry and conference rooms.
  • Other duties as assigned.
