Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a Server in Halifax, NS to provide outstanding guest service and high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced setting. You will work under the supervision of the F&B Supervisor and align with Casino Nova Scotia’s culture of delivering exceptional experiences.

Requirements include Grade 12, Serve Right, and at least 1 year of F&B serving experience, with strong communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
Completion of the Serve Right certificate is required.
Minimum 1 year of food and beverage serving experience.
Proven strong sales and organizational skills.
Proven GEM skills are required.
Must be energetic and able to work quickly under pressure.
Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provides exceptional guest service to dining guests.
Provides full-table service following established standards of service.
Cleans, buses and sets tables.
Performs other cleaning duties as required including Server side duties.
Works as a member of the team and provides support to co-workers on shift.
Finds ways to play; you are serious about work, without being serious in your demeanor.
Chooses to make everyday a great day.
Stays focused in order to be there.
Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you make their day.
