Aspira Brants Landing in Brantford, ON is seeking a Guest Attendant to provide compassionate daily living support for residents. You will build relationships with residents and families, helping with activities, meals, mobility, and personal care in a respectful home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, hygiene, grooming) as per care plans.
• Respond to resident call bells and door alarms promptly.
• Support residents by transporting to rooms, activities, health office and dining room.
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; assist with oral and dental care.
• Perform laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned.

As aGuest Attendant, you’ll form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience. You will build relationships with the residents and their family members, offering a variety of support options and program choices that enrich their daily health and well-being. • Assist with transporting residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as required
• Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; as well as oral and dental care
• Completing laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments

What you need to know:

• You have ‘Safe Serve’ designation and one year experience in dining room service
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position
