Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Guest Attendant on a temporary drop shift in Kingston, Ontario. You will support residents with daily living, foster meaningful connections, and contribute to their comfort and well-being in a caring home.

The role requires Grade 12, Safe Serve designation with dining room experience, and the ability to work legally in Canada. A Vulnerable Sector Check is required, and the organization may use AI in screening applicants.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum education required.
• Safe Serve designation and one year experience in dining room service.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
• Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Sienna may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene and grooming as per individual care plans.
• Answer resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provide courteous service.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from rooms, activities, health office and dining areas.
• Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; as well as oral and dental care.
• Complete laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments.

What you need to know:

• Grade 12 minimum education required
• You have ‘Safe Serve’ designation and one year experience in dining room service
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
