Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the commercial sales team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role focuses on promoting IKO Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope products to contractors, responding to technical inquiries, and providing product training.

The ideal candidate will have roofing/product experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently within the region. A valid driver's license and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

Experience applying commercial roofing products.
Experience applying building envelope products is a plus.
Construction or roofing background is preferred.
Experience with quality assurance inspections is an asset.
Sales or promotion experience is an asset.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel.

Responsibilities

Promote IKO Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope products to the contracting community.
Respond to technical inquiries from internal and external customers.
Travel within the Greater Toronto Area up to 80% of the time.
Provide theory and hands-on product training for contractors and distributors.
Prepare QA inspection reports for customers and internal teams.
Represent IKO at industry events to promote products.
