Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Canada is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our commercial roofing and building envelope products in the Greater Toronto Area. You will engage with contracting professionals to promote products and resolve technical questions on site.

This role requires travel within the region, ladder access, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills to train contractors and document inspections with QA reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial roofing products.
• Experience with building envelope products is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to climb a ladder.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the commercial contracting community and perform quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed sites.
• Prepare and conduct theory and hands-on commercial product training for existing and potential Registered Contractors.
• Liaise with the contracting community and distribution network on product promotion and theory education.
• Produce written inspection and quality assurance reports for internal and external customers.
• Attend and participate in related association events to promote IKO Commercial products.

Also, responding to both internal and external customer inquiries on technical issues relating to commercial roofing and building envelope.
