Global Property & Construction Consultancy is seeking a Cost Director to lead the Greater Toronto Area practice, balancing client advisory with strategic business development, team leadership, and P&L accountability. You will leverage your network to win new commissions, scale local delivery, and shape the practice direction across Ontario.

Qualifications

Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation via CIQS and/or MRICS designation.
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Drive business development initiatives, secure new client relationships, and win competitive tenders across sectors.
Serve as the trusted lead advisor for developers, public sector entities, financial institutions, and multinationals.
Oversee cost management, feasibility estimating, procurement strategy, change order reviews, value engineering, and loan monitoring.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of quantity surveyors and cost consultants.
Oversee project margins, resource allocation, and practice profitability.
