Job summary

Millards Chartered Accountants in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a bookkeeper to join our team. You will maintain client financial records and process AR/AP, payroll, and tax filings in a detail-focused environment.

Working hours total 1,820 annually, with regular hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Occasional extra hours may be required during busy periods to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting preferred.
• Data entry skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of QBO and Sage50.
• Working knowledge of Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
• Processing Accounts Receivable/Payable transactions.
• Processing Payroll transactions in a timely manner.
• Reconciling Bank and Credit cards.
• Preparing and filing GST/HST.
• Preparing and filing payroll taxes, T4s and ROEs.
• Preparing accounting records up to trial balance.
