Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is assisting a client in midtown Toronto in finding an experienced Manager, Bookkeeping. The role reports to partners and focuses on overseeing staff, reviewing tax work for small businesses, and strengthening internal/external partnerships.

The position requires leadership of a sizable team, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to departmental development. Ontario pay transparency applies to compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a similar position
• Degree or diploma in accounting & finance
• Strong people management skills, must have experience managing a big team
• Knowledge of NTRs and taxes
• Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements

About Our Client Our client, located in midtown Toronto, is a public accounting firm looking for an experienced Manager, Bookkeeping to join their team! Reporting directly to the Partners, the Bookkeeping, Manager tasks will follow:

• Analyze financial engagement files and prepared tax returns for small business clients
