Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of management experience, a college education, and strong business acumen with familiarity in MS Office and AS400. Knowledge of electrical products is essential.

Qualifications

• A college education plus 3-5 years of related experience within the electrical distribution industry.
• At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Experience in the sale of electrical products/industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend sales strategies, marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts to the District Manager.
• Maintain and develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and ensure compliance with customer service standards.
• Prepare work schedules to ensure workflow across counter and inside sales functions.
• Hire personnel in the Branch following company standards and procedures.
• Promote and maintain a positive work climate within the Branch.
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies in inventory control, delivery, billing and security.
• Monitor inventory discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
