Roots is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering the Roots experience to customers and employees. You will lead by example in sales and service while helping recruit and train staff, and ensure daily store operations run smoothly.

You will need 2+ years of retail apparel management, a passion for fashion, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. This is a team-driven role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales budgets and delivering Roots standards.
• Support recruitment activities and staff onboarding.
• Provide product knowledge and selling skills training to staff.
• Execute opening and closing procedures and manage daily store operations.
• Motivate the team through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Manage time and tasks effectively to meet business needs.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers and team.
