Job summary

Green Thumb Landscaping is hiring Grounds Maintenance Crew Members to join a dedicated outdoor team in the Burlington area. You will help maintain residential and commercial properties to high standards, working with experienced crews on a variety of landscaping tasks.

We value reliability and physical ability, offering year-round work and opportunities for training. A valid Ontario G driver’s license is required, and prior landscape experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically capable of performing manual labour and long shifts.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License.
• Experience operating commercial lawn maintenance equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, edging, and maintaining lawns.
• Operating commercial landscaping equipment (zero-turn, walk-behind, push mowers, line trimmers, backpack blowers).
• Assisting with general property maintenance and clean-up.
• Identifying and reporting lawn health concerns or site deficiencies to your Crew Leader.
• Maintaining equipment and keeping tools clean and in good working order.
• Following all company safety procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service while on client properties.
• Assisting with additional grounds maintenance duties as required.

What You'll Do

As a Grounds Maintenance Crew Member, you'll work with an experienced team to maintain residential and commercial properties to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Mowing, trimming, edging, and maintaining lawns
• Operating commercial landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, push mowers, line trimmers, and backpack blowers
• Assisting with general property maintenance and clean-up
• Identifying and reporting lawn health concerns or site deficiencies to your Crew Leader
• Maintaining equipment and keeping tools clean and in good working order
• Following all company safety procedures
• Providing excellent customer service while working on client properties
• Assisting with additional grounds maintenance duties as required

• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically capable of performing manual labour and working up to 10-hour shifts
• 1 year of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred
• Experience operating commercial lawn maintenance equipment is considered an asset

Assets

• Experience working on residential or high-end residential properties
• Experience driving a truck and trailer
• Basic equipment maintenance knowledge

• $21.00-$23.00 per hour
