Job summary

Livingstone Landscaping Ltd. is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Crew Lead to supervise and support a dedicated crew, ensuring top-quality work across sites. You’ll oversee mowing, edging, pruning, site cleanup, and daily operations while upholding safety standards and timely completion of routes.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, landscaping knowledge, and a Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license. You will mentor team members and promote best practices on every job site.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years of grounds maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance practices.
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s Licence.

Grounds Maintenance Crew Lead

We're looking for a motivated Grounds Maintenance Crew Lead to supervise a grounds maintenance team, ensure quality work, maintain safety standards, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support a grounds maintenance crew
• Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weeding, pruning, and site clean-up
• Ensure routes are completed on time and to company standards
• Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Complete safety paperwork and promote safe work practices
• Manage timecards, crew communication, and client feedback
• Coach team members and lead by example

You’ll work alongside your crew to complete:

• Mowing (push mowers, ride-ons, and zero-turns)
• Trimming and edging
• Debris blowing and site cleanup
• Weeding and garden bed maintenance
• Shrub pruning and minor landscape upkeep
• Mulching and seasonal property maintenance
• General litter control and property appearance

What We’re Looking For

• Around 2 years of grounds maintenance experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance practices
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s Licence
