Job summary

Executive Aviation is hiring Ground Handlers at the Saskatoon Airport (YXE). This role reports directly to a Shift Lead who supports you in day-to-day operations.

We offer progressive wage ranges with earning potential. The salary starts at $18.15/hour CAD. Qualifications

• Flexible to work early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push/pull for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 70lbs/32kg and working outdoors in all weather.
• Wears steel-toe boots, reflective vest and hearing protection as required.
• Background checks and a valid driver’s licence may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Transport Canada procedures and regulations.
• Drive and operate ground service equipment.
• Marshal/wing-walk aircraft to gate.
• Load/unload guest baggage according to the load plan.
• Deliver baggage to claim area and load onto conveyor.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories; inspect ramp areas for debris.
• Clean aircraft cabins, galleys, lavatories, and restock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
• Drive and operate ground service equipment
• Marshall/wing-walk aircraft to gate
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan
• Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system
• Service aircraft water and lavatories
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found
• Grooms aircraft - clean whole cabin, galleys, lavatories, restock lavatory with supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Personal flexibility to work shift work which includes early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time
• A physical ability to consistently lift up to 70lbs/32kgs
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
• Must wear safety wear - steel toe boots (green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection
• An ability to meet all conditions of employment:
  • Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada
  • A criminal background check
  • Hold a valid driver's license and a clean drivers abstract
