Job summary

Executive Aviation in Hamilton is seeking motivated ground handlers to support airline partners. You will work hands-on with airplanes, handle baggage, marshal aircraft, and ensure procedures meet Transport Canada rules.

We offer a progressive wage range ($18.40–$21.45/hour), flight benefits with partner airlines, and a comprehensive paid training program. This role reports to the Ground Handler Lead and requires flexibility, stamina, and a readiness to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push and pull for extended periods.
• Must wear steel toe boots, reflective vest and hearing protection.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Possess Transport Canada security/document requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with Transport Canada rules.
• Drive and operate ground service equipment.
• Marshall/wing-walk aircraft to gate.
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage per load plan.
• Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose.
• Groom aircraft – clean cabin, galleys, lavatories, restock supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
• Drive and operate ground service equipment
• Marshall/wing-walk aircraft to gate
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan
• Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system
• Service aircraft water and lavatories
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found
• Groom aircraft – clean whole cabin, galleys, lavatories, restock lavatory with supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Personal flexibility to work shift work which includes early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push and pull for extended periods of time
• A valid driver's license and clear drivers abstract
• A physical ability to consistently lift up to 70 lbs/32kgs
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
• Must wear safety wear – steel toe boots (green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection
• An ability to meet all conditions of employment:
  • Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada
  • A criminal background check
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
