Job summary

Steinbachonline in Swift Current is seeking a part-time Grocery Stock/Logistics Clerk to organize merchandise, stock displays, unload deliveries, and support customer service across the Swift Current Wheatland Mall location.

You will assist with loading/unloading, manage deliveries to Pioneer locations, maintain safety checks, and work varied shifts including weekends; a valid Class 5 license and ability to lift are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid class 5 license with clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and take responsibility.
• Pleasant, cooperative attitude and pride in work.

Responsibilities

• Organize merchandise and prioritize tasks to maintain quality and appearance.
• Stock and display products to present a neat department.
• Receive and unload delivery trucks as required.
• Deliver products to Pioneer locations inside and outside Swift Current.
• Ensure safety and perform pre-shift vehicle checks and refuel as needed.
• Report any vehicle problems to the manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Organize merchandise, working efficiently and prioritizing tasks to maintain quality and appearance of merchandise
• Stock & display products to present a neat, clean, well-merchandised department
• Receive and unload delivery trucks when required
• Required to work productively in all areas of the department as assigned
• Provide helpful, friendly customer service
• Will be responsible for delivery of products to any of Pioneer locations inside and outside of Swift Current.
• Commodities for delivery and pick up will very on the needs for the day.
• While unloading product at each destination the mail from those locations along with any and all Dunnage must be returned to Swift Current.
• Will ensure that a pre-inspection is done at the beginning of each shift, and vehicle is filled with gas and oil checked.
• Will advise manager of any vehicle problems.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold valid class 5 license, clean drivers abstract.
• Must be able to work efficiently, independently and assume responsibility.
• Must portray a pleasant and co-operative attitude and take pride in your work.
• Lifting involved.
• Must be able to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
• This position is classified as a safety sensitive position and therefore is subject to our Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
• Averages 24 – 40 hours/week.
• $16.32hr - $21.07hr
