Job summary

Steinbachonline in Swift Current is seeking a friendly deli associate to deliver high quality customer service while preparing a variety of deli items and ready-to-eat meals. You will slice meats and cheeses, assemble trays, sandwiches and salads, weigh and package products, and keep shelves stocked and clean.

The role requires teamwork, flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends, and physical tasks including lifting.

Qualifications

• Must work co-operatively with a variety of individuals including customers, the public and co-workers.
• Must be open to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
• Heavy lifting involved.
• Position is classified as Safety Sensitive; therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance Policy as condition of employment.

• Weighing and packaging of in store products
• Stocking, facing and organizing of shelves & cleaning of deli area.
• Be attentive to sanitation, safe food handling procedures and safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned.
