Job summary

Calgary Co-op is seeking a Grocery Utility Clerk in Calgary to ensure friendly customer service while maintaining safe, efficient store operations. You will stock shelves, build displays, process receipts, and support daily inventory in dairy, frozen and grocery sections.

Qualifications

• Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and handle questions, comments, requests and complaints.
• Stock, build displays and maintain organization across departments.
• Manage merchandise quality, substitutions and price integrity.
• Perform cleanup and keep sales floor and back stock tidy.
• Follow health & safety, food safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Arrange ordering of merchandise and supplies.
• Process receiving, invoices, returns, transfers and storage.
• Assist in inventory and train others in Grocery Utility Clerk duties.
