Job summary

Calgary Co-op is hiring a Produce Utility Clerk in Calgary, Alberta. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked produce area while delivering friendly customer service and upholding company policies.

Key duties include culling, stocking, displays, price integrity, receiving and inventory assistance, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed. Grade 9 education and retail experience are preferred. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Related retail experience, including the provision of customer service.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of receiving, counter set-up and product knowledge / experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations.
• Performs culling, stocking, displays and facing in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensures price integrity and handles receiving, invoicing and stock transfers as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the department and work area.
• Supports inventory organization and ordering processes.
