Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a hands-on Floor Supervisor to lead a welcoming shopping experience and support a high-performing team. You will supervise floor operations, train staff, and ensure daily readiness for business with a focus on exceptional customer service.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with standing, lifting, and potential cooler/freezer duties. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Partial completion of a post-secondary program plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently with pride in high-quality results, detail, and cleanliness.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with strong team engagement, coaching, and training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service, reflecting Farm Boy's commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers with knowledge and enthusiasm for our products.
• Provide floor supervision and team support by delegating tasks, coordinating breaks, receiving and storing orders, completing 2x2s, and ensuring daily readiness for business.
• Package, stock, and rotate display counters and shelves to maintain high product quality and presentation.
• Foster a culture of trust and inclusion by providing hands-on training and coaching focused on floor operations and service excellence.
• Promote company policies and clearly communicate department updates and business objectives as shared by store leadership.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.
