Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a team member to support store operations in Mississauga. You will provide excellent customer service, keep work areas clean and safe, and assist with general duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include housekeeping, stocking, and adherence to Health & Safety standards. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is typical, with fluency in English and French considered an asset.

This position is responsible for contributing to the coordinated efforts of preparing and distributing products to our retail stores. The performance of the duties must align with all Food Safety standards, and ensure a quality service approach to all customers, employees and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.

Major Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.

• Superior customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision with a high standard for quality, attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a team environment with clear and effective communication style, both written and oral.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Fluency in English and French shall be considered an asset.

Work & Sensory Environment

• Unavoidable exposure to dangerous or unpleasant environmental elements such as noise, dirt, dust, vibration and extreme temperatures.
• Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
• May be required to wear cumbersome protective clothing or equipment and advances PPE for part or duration of shift.
• Required to lift, carry or handle heavy objects.
