A prominent ski area organization in North Vancouver is seeking a Graveyard Shift Janitor. This role entails ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the Base Operations area during night shifts. Our Graveyard Shift Janitor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance and security of the Base Operations area at the bottom of the mountain during graveyard hours. Shift times are 9:00pm to 7:00am on average, Friday through Sunday, with the option to cover additional weekdays as needed. The successful candidate would be responsible for cleaning all offices, buildings and bathrooms as well as the general upkeep of the base operations area, and should be mechanically inclined in order to complete on-the-job training for the use of our aerial tramway and gondola system as well as forklifts etc..
This position reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Base Operations and does not involve any direct supervisory responsibilities.
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
Shift times are 9:00pm to 7:00am on average, 3 days a week (3x 10hr shifts per week).
$20.31 to $23.76 per hour
