Job summary

Qualifications

La-kwa sa muqw Forestry (LKSM) is seeking a fully qualified Grapple Yarder Operator to join our team in Campbell River, BC. This position offers the chance to contribute to a progressive organization committed to responsible forest management, with strong values in safety and sustainability.

Shifts

This position is currently on a 5x2 shift, 5 days on and 2 days off, 8 hours per day.

This role is considered safety sensitive; all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Fully qualified in all aspects of the job with minimum 2 years of experience in BC Coastal Logging; and
• Preference may be given to applicants holding a valid Advanced First Aid certificate. Successful applicants who do not currently hold at least an Intermediate First Aid certification must be willing to obtain it.
