Job summary

Bartlett is seeking an Elevator Operator in Somerset, MB to manage grain receiving, storage, handling, blending and loading operations. The role requires attention to grain conditions, equipment upkeep, and maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.

You’ll cross-train across a range of tasks, work 1st shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime including weekends. High school diploma or GED and reliable transportation are required, along with English literacy

The Basics

Location: Somerset, MB

Compensation: $20.00/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift, 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED
