Job summary

Bartlett is seeking a Grain Elevator Operator in Nicklen Siding, SK to manage grain receiving, storage, handling, blending and loading, ensuring safe operations and a clean, organized work area.

You will work 8:00am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri with overtime as needed, including weekends, and support a team responsible for bulk commodities such as wheat, corn and soybeans. Bartlett offers comprehensive benefits and safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
• Available to work overtime and weekends.
• Professional demeanor with safety, quality, cleanliness and communication.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, blending and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition and maintaining/cleaning grain facilities and equipment for a safe environment.
• Cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks as a Grain Elevator Operator.

The Basics

Location: Nicklen Siding, SK

Compensation: $20.00/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift, 8:00am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs, skidsteer

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
