Job summary

Bartlett in Jordan Mills, MB, is hiring a Mill Operator to support crush plant operations. You will learn to receive, move, extract and store soybeans, and help prepare soybean oil and meal for delivery to customers.

Shift is midnight to noon on a rotating 2 on/2 off schedule; starting pay is $24/hr with shift premiums. Bartlett offers comprehensive benefits, uniforms and PPE, and a safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or GED.
• Experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator preferred.
• Available to work off hours and weekends.
• Computer skills for data entry.
• Must read/write English.
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, verbal communications).
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading, unloading, and processing of soybeans.
• Clean equipment and plant.
• Complete Safety, Quality and Production documentation.
• Participate in safety inspections/meetings and corrective actions.

The Basics

The Mill Operator is an entry-level role designed to introduce Team Members to the dynamic crush plant environment and learning to provide hands‑on support to daily operations

Location

Jordan Mills, MB

Compensation

$24/hr and up, shift premium applies

Days/Hours

We are hiring for the midnight to noon shift in a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off pattern. You will work both days one weekend, then have the next weekend off.

Equipment Used

• Receive, move and store soybeans
• Extract and refine soybean oil
• Ship soybean oil and soybean meal

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands‑on job will include receiving, moving, cleaning and storing of soybeans. You will also operate equipment to extract oil from the soybeans. You will also prepare and load soybean oil and meal into trucks for delivery to our customers.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• Grade 12 diploma or GED
