Job summary

Bartlett Co. in Northgate, SK is seeking Elevator Operators to manage grain receiving, storage, handling, blending and loading, while monitoring grain conditions and keeping facilities clean for a safe team environment.

Shifts run 6:30am-3pm and 1pm-9:30pm, Mon-Fri with overtime including weekends during harvest. Requires a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and ability to read and follow English instructions; benefits include medical, dental, vision, vacation, RRSP matching, and

The Basics

Location: Northgate, SK

Compensation: $24.00/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job has 2 shifts on a rotating basis; 6:30am-3pm and 1pm-9:30pm, Mon-Fri with overtime as needed. During harvest you can expect a lot of OT, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, canola, oats

What you’ll be doing:

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements to be successful in this position:

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
