Job summary

Grain Millers Canada in Yorkton, SK is hiring a Bulk Loadout Operator to run the load-out systems and ensure shipments meet specifications and food safety standards. You will conduct vessel inspections of railcars and trucks, seal verification, perform minor equipment maintenance, manage samples, and operate a Track-mobile to position rail cars for loading, plus complete required documentation.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to operate and/or acquire certifications in safe operation of railcars and related equipment.
• Knowledge of grain handling and bulk load out systems.
• Work in a grain processing environment with grain dust exposure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel) preferred.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces.
• Outdoor work in weather extremes.

Responsibilities

• Operate load-out systems to ensure shipments meet specifications and food safety.
• Perform vessel inspections of railcars and trucks and verify seals.
• Carry out minor maintenance on equipment as required.
• Manage samples and document as required.
• Position rail cars for loading using Track-mobile and complete documentation.
• Assist other mill and sanitation team with day-to-day tasks.
