Job summary

Grain Millers in Yorkton, SK is seeking a Retail Forklift Operator to help keep production lines moving safely and efficiently. This role involves managing packaging material flow, clearing pallets, and ensuring quality and food safety standards are upheld.

You will perform forklift operations, conduct pre-shift inspections, transfer materials, stock pallet magazines, and document activities in the Wow system.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of electric and propane forklift equipment to move product within the packaging and warehouse areas
• Complete pre-inspections of all forklift equipment before each shift
• Transfer of packaging materials to and from packing lines and warehouse racking
• Ensure pallet magazines and stretch wrappers are stocked and functioning
• Operate automated robot palletizer and stretch wrapper
• Accurately complete required documentation using the 'Wow' inventory system, including inventory transfers, pallet scanning, bin assignments, and forklift maintenance logs
• Troubleshoot minor forklift issues and report any repairs needed
