Job summary

Covenant Health in Alberta is seeking a Registered Nurse Transition Graduate Nurse at La Crete Community Health Centre. This GNTPP role supports nursing care across acute and ambulatory settings and is supervised until independent practice is achieved.

Eligible graduates must complete CRNA registration and BCLS HCP, with English proficiency and clinical assessment skills. The program includes extra allowances and travel reimbursements for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the CRNA.
• Current BCLS HCP certification.
• Eligible Graduate Nurses, Graduate Psychiatric Nurses, Registered Nurses or RN/RPN within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic assessments, develop and implement care plans.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and contribute to health system improvement.
• Provide safe, evidence-informed nursing care within scope of practice.
